Sow in a propagator on a windowsill or in a greenhouse at around 15-20ºC using a good quality, moist compost, sowing seeds onto the surface. Do not exclude light and maintain moisture. (Germination 14-21 days). Transplant seedlings, spacing them 5cm (2") apart in seed trays or individual pots. Gradually acclimatise to outside conditions before planting out after the last frost at a spacing of 15cm (6") in a sunny position.
